CVC Orange Level Ride -- Saturday, December 22nd, 8:00 AM Meeting at Citibank Parking Lot - Westlake Village -- Westlake Blvd. & Agoura Road (North East Corner) for announcements; promptly at 8:30 am, then split into our groups to depart. Route: Mulholland to the Coast Via Encinal and up Mulholland; For a detailed map and route slip, go to: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/947125 Regroups: Water & Toilets: Mile De Anza Park Water: Calamegus Ranch Water & Toilets: Leo Carrillo make sure you have two full water bottles. Water at the first stinger on /Decker. Regroup Locations: De Anza, Top of Rockstore, Leo Carrillo The Orange Ride is an Intermediate to advanced ride, 40+ miles in length. It is mandatory to have & wear a helmet. It is the rider's responsibility to ensure that the helmet is in good condition. This is a "drop ride" so please understand the route before you start (and how to get back). As always we will try to stick together & have a fun safe ride. We will regroup regularly and to allow everyone a chance to ride together. Things to have: Helmet !!! - Water to complete the ride or at least to reach the next water stop - Tools to perform minor repairs -Chain repair linkage - Inner-tube and pump (or the like) - Cellular phone - Food to replenish energy. Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel a club ride. Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditions; however, the ride will not be considered an official club ride. Please remember to park in the area along Westlake Blvd. (between the street and the first driveway aisle) and not in the area in front of the Shops/Market.
