The ride will start early to be back in time for the Serious Cycling clinic at 7 pm. Darkness is starting to encroach at the end of the ride and I will start this ride sooner regularly in the near future. The Thursday evening red ride will continue on August 21st, 2014. The ride leaves from the Landing parking lot at *4:30 pm PDT* sharp. The route this week will be up Westlake, down Encinal, and back up Encinal. Two SMMT climbs in one ride. Riders can optionally return on Decker or Mulholland. The route will change week to week and includes: 1) Reverse Rock Store Loop 2) Up and over to PCH via Encinal and back. 3) Up and over to PCH via Encinal and Mulholland 4) Whatever else riders want to do. Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel the official club ride.
