Here’s this upcoming week’s club ride recap summarizing the rides and 
identifying the club ride leaders. Please refer to the individual ride captain’s 
ride announcement emails for specific ride details.

Local Rides:
Saturday, 10-20-12: 8:30 AM rides are as follows:
Red, PCH and returning on Latigo Canyon. 
Orange, Simi Valley, Box Canyon, Valley Circle and returning on Agoura

5:15 and Red Leave at 5:30:  Two more week only.
Tuesday Morning at 8:30 Start from Citibank Parking Lot
Tuesday PM Mountain Bike Rides-Novice and Advanced Start Time 6:00 PM.  It is 
starting to get dark earlier, time to pup the lights one is quickly approaching.

Wednesday afternoon Landing Ride!This ride meets at 3:45 at the Landing Parking 
lot at the South end of Lindero before Triunfo (same place as shops). we will be 
at end closest to the street. We try to ride as far as we can, but it's usually  
about 25 miles due to daylight.

Inclement Weather Policy:
In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride 
route is wet it is our club’s policy to cancel scheduled club ride. Should club 
members choose to meet and ride in inclement conditions the ride will not be 
considered an official club ride.

Upcoming Events:
Conejo Valley Cyclists Classic Bicycle Ride, October 21st, 2012

Join us on Sunday October 21st, 2012 for a ride with your classic lightweight 
road/race bicycle. Many have, collect, and enjoy the “old” bikes and there are 
not too many opportunities for group rides dedicated to them so we at CVC have 
created our own quarterly Classic Bicycle Ride. We plan on a relaxed pace ride 
through Hidden Valley, past the estates of the rich and famous, and back of 20 
miles. After the ride we invite you to bring a stand and display your classic 
and socialize with other bicycle enthusiasts at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and 
the Natural Café.
If you do not have a classic but you’d like to ride with us you are welcome to 
participate.

When: October 21st, 9:00 AM
Where: Meeting at Citibank Parking Lot - Westlake Village -- Westlake Blvd. & 
Agoura Road (North East Corner) 974 South Westlake Boulevard, Westlake Village,

CVC FUN RIDE -- Sunday, October 21st, 3:00 PM
Meet at TRIUNFO PARK parking lot. Corner of Triunfo Canyon Road & Tamarack St.
It’s time for another Fun Ride!!! Leave the clips & spandex at home, bring the 
T-shirts & Kids. Dust off those banana seat bikes and shine up the cruisers. 

Join us as we cruise around the lake and through the local neighborhoods.

FUN RIDE Route: Triunfo Park to The Trails. A Casual 5.9 miles & an easy 143 
feet of elevation.
