CVC RIDE PREVIEW October 25-October 30 Please remember when parking at The Landing for any weekend morning rides to park and congregate towards the far end of the lot away from the street and use the middle row. Do not park next to the homes. Give 'em a hand, or a wheel! Passing someone that is struggling? Ride alongside for a bit to keep them company. The Strava segment PR's can wait. -THIS SATURDAY- The O.C. Rebels Tandem squad will be riding with Gold. They will have had a long drive so let's all give them a CVC welcome. -UPCOMING EVENT- We have more guests coming! Next Saturday, Nov. 1, Team In Training will be joining us. This is a great organization that rides to beat cancer. 'Red Standard' is for those who have been wanting more mileage than Orange, but not at at the 'Red Rush' pace. Wednesday: 3:45pm-Check your emails for starting location announcement. Hump Day Happy Hour Ride**-This ride meets on Wednesday afternoons! Yes, middle of the week, middle of the afternoon…. with some refreshment and socializing afterwards. Rides range from 19 to 25 miles depending on our sunlight availability. Thursday: Go Thursday Ride**-Discontinued until next Spring Red Ride-From The Landing parking lot. 5:00pm Leader: Jonathan Woodbury, up Westlake Bl. and Little Sycamore. Routes may vary from week to week so check your emails for announcement. MTB Ride-5:30pm Location and route TBA. Check your emails for announcement early in the week. ** This is considered a "no drop" ride. The ride leader will keep an eye on everyone. No one is left behind. All rides not asterisked are considered a "drop ride" so please understand the route before you start (and how to get back). If you get to a regrouping spot and no one is there, consider yourself dropped. As always we will try to stick together & have a fun safe ride. We will regroup regularly to allow everyone a chance to ride together. If for any reason you leave a group ride, please pass along the information to the ride leader. It is mandatory to have & wear a helmet. It is the rider's responsibility to ensure that the helmet is in good condition (check expiration on helmet inner tag) and that your bike is in working condition as well. That’s all for now, folks.
