Anyone wanting to have an extension can continue on up over Rock Store and down Decker on the way back. Safety Tip of the week: At stop signs, don't call out clear for the riders behind you, this gives them a false sense of security. Ride leader/s for this ride will be: Gary Silver 213 923 0382 Jerry Scott 805 404 8525 The Orange is an Intermediate to advanced ride, 40+ miles in length. It is mandatory to have & wear a helmet. It is the rider's responsibility to ensure that the helmet is in good condition. This is a "drop ride" so please understand the route before you start (and how to get back). As always we will try to stick together & have a fun safe ride. Frequent re-groups will allow everyone a chance to ride together. Please let one of the ride leaders know if you do not plan on continuing on the planned route. Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel club rides. Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditions. However, the ride will not be considered an official club ride. Please remember to park in the area along Westlake Blvd. (between the street and the first driveway aisle), and not in the area in front of the shops and market. Now that the rains are gone, lets hope the winds blow away (pun intended) before Saturday so we can enjoy the coast.
