Hi CVC Members, The ride committee is working at finding ways to expand our rides and options by holding a informal planning meeting on Wednesday, 2/15/2012 <x-apple-data-detectors://0> at: The City of Westlake Village Community room at 7:00PM<x-apple-data-detectors://1> . Come on out and get involved in your rides. At this meeting we'd like club member input to discuss: 1) Creating new and varied club rides ( all colored rides & away rides routes & places) 2) Establishing a rotating core of club ride leaders - so no "one" person has too much leadership committment Ride leaders can announce the rides, organize the riders on the day of the ride, keep track of riders at the re-group spots, assist with mechanical issues and/or communicate change of route to others in the group should a rider stop their ride. The more members we have to do this - the easier, more organized and consequently, more fun all of our rides become. It is very valuable & beneficial to us to have club member input and support with our club rides and we encourage you to attend this informational and idea gathering meeting with our goal in mind of creating more fun rides and increased member camaraderie.
