Important Club Change-Please read
CVC Members,
L.A. County has announced a temporary revised Health Officer Order that will be issued with further restrictions within Los Angeles County. In order to be compliant with the health orders and new restrictions, we will need to make some immediate changes within CVC until further notice.
*Starting this coming weekend, all rides will be starting in Ventura County at Triunfo Park: *980 Aranmoor Ave, Thousand Oaks/ Westlake Village, CA 91362
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Triunfo+Park/@34.1548063,-118.8521175,14.7...
Our routes will be primarily based through Ventura County away from foot traffic at *and* around the lake, and leaving from the new temporary start location.
When riding, please be cognizant of what county you are in, as L.A. County is requiring face coverings and physical distancing in all outdoor recreation activities. Beaches, trails, bike parks and community parks will remain open in L.A. County but with the distancing and mask requirement.
Ventura County does not have the same restrictions. "Persons engaged in outdoor work or recreation activities, such as swimming, walking, hiking, bicycling, and running, are not required to wear face coverings, as long as they maintain a distance of at least six feet away from persons who are not members of the same household."
We at CVC are asking that you comply with social distancing mandates while riding with another club member. It is very important that if you are even mildly sick, or not feeling well, or you think you were exposed to someone with COVID 19 that you stay home and away from other people so as not to put anyone at risk of becoming seriously ill from COVID 19.
Please watch for announcements on any other changes.
Please be respectful to this new location
Thank you, CVC Board
