Dear CVC Members,

Our member Brett Austin, is serving on the Bicycle Advisory Team (BAT), representing CVC, for the city of Thousand Oaks. He recently attended a meeting and has this for us:

The City of Thousand Oaks Active Transportation Plan (ATP) Update is now open for public comment. This plan includes several priority projects that are of particular interest to cyclists, and the City is actively seeking community input to help determine which projects move forward.

You can review the plan here:
City of Thousand Oaks Active Transportation Plan Update

Comments can be submitted directly through that same link. Input provided before February 25 will be especially helpful to the advisory committees involved in the process.

Brett (brett.2249@icloud.com) will be attending the advisory committee meetings and will keep our membership informed as the process moves forward.Keep his email handy with any questions or concerns.

Please consider taking a few minutes to review the plan and share your thoughts. Our collective voice can help shape safer and more connected cycling infrastructure in our community.

Thank you Brett for doing this for our cycling community, and thank you CVC members for being your voice in our community behind Brett. Brett, and our members will guide the city towards safety and better conditions on our local  roads.
