Get ready to shift gears and hit the dirt… because we’ve got something NEW and AWESOME rolling your way! 🎉

🌟 Our very own Peter is launching a Mountain Bike Ride 🌟
…We hope to ride  TWICE a month on Sundays! 🙌

Whether you’re a seasoned trail shredder or just looking to mix things up and try something new, this ride is all about:
🌲 Fresh air
⛰️ Fun trails
😄 Great company
💪 Building skills (and maybe a little mud on the side!)

Expect a laid-back, supportive vibe where we encourage each other, share some laughs, and maybe even stop for a scenic photo or two 📸✨

🚵‍♂️ Ride Details:

• 📅 Twice a month on Sundays
• 👨‍✈️ Ride Leader: Peter and TBD
• 🌄 Terrain: Mountain bike trails (fun + adventurous!)
• 🎉 Vibe: Chill, social, and encouraging

🗺️ Route & Plan (Sample Ride):

• Start at the Cheeseboro parking area and ride up Palo Comado Canyon fire road 🚵‍♂️
• At the top, loop around China Flat 🌄
• Return to the parking area
• Feeling strong? 💪 We may continue on Albertson for a stretch above China Flat before heading back

⏰ Start Time:

• 9:00 AM (just like our road rides!) ⏱️

🚵‍♀️ Ride Style & Level:

• Beginner-friendly and inclusive 🙌
• Nothing too technical, but expect some climbing ⛰️🔥

🚲 Bike Recommendations:

• Gravel bikes OK for the April 26 ride, but may struggle on China Flat single track
• Mountain bikes recommended for convenience and safety 👍

⚡ E-Bikes Welcome!

• Both e-bikes and non-e-bikes are good to go
• E-bikes: please regroup at designated spots so we can keep the group together 🤝

⏳ Duration:

• About 2 hours total (similar to our Sunday social road rides!)

📍 Meeting Style:

• Remote start at trailhead/parking lot

☕ Post-Ride Fun:

• Yes… the classic Starbucks coffee hangout continues! ☕😄

📍 Directions to Cheeseboro Canyon Parking:
Take the 101 Freeway to the Cheesebro exit in Agoura. Head north and make a right on Cheesebro Road. Follow the narrow road one mile and turn right at the park entrance. Continue up the paved road 1/4 mile to the top parking lot.
