I want to say thank you to my fellow CVC friends for your outpouring of love and friendship during this very difficult time in my life. Losing a spouse/life partner after being married for nearly 32 years and together for 35 years has been heartbreaking for both me and my family.
Your emails, texts, phone calls, chats on rides, hugs in the parking lot, visits to my home, cards, flowers, and kind words have been so greatly appreciated.
CVC is not a cycling club to me, but a group of very caring people whom I am proud to say are my friends.
Please know that reaching out to me has been the best therapy I can ask for at this time.
A memorial service will be held in the next few months and I will share the details when they are available.
