Thank those of you who responded to my inquiry about the road surface condition of Latigo Canyon.
The court of club riding opinion, "vox populi" is in: 
Latigo Canyon is "res judicata" to be "sui generis" and my decision is "stare decisis"
to "festina lente" this route.  ( more latin below**)

CVC RED  RIDE -- Saturday, September 21st, 2013  

8:30 AM Start:  Sprouts Market/Citibank Parking Lot

   NE Corner of  Westlake Blvd. & Agoura/Hampshire Road, Westlake Village,CA
 
Jim Doane is the RED RIDE Leader this week.

Route:  Around Westlake Lake, Hidden Valley-CSCI-PCH-Zuma Beach
                   Latigo Canyon-Mulholland-Westlake 

This is slightly longer miles than a standard Red Ride
  but still within the total overall climbing feet of a red ride.

Re-group spots:
1) CSCI - Parking lot 
2) Sycamore Beach Parking lot on PCH ( water, restrooms) 
3) Zuma Beach   ( water & restroom)  
4) Top of 2nd peak: Latigo Canyon 
 5) Calimigos Ranch ( water)  
      

Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel the official club ride. Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditions; however, the ride will not be considered an official club ride.
