It is always on Nov 3, the day of Mike's passing, and this year it's a Saturday.  I also want to point out to all not familiar with the ride, there are 3 routes.  

The full monty is 81 miles, 9,000 ft of climbing: Potrero, PCH, up Deer Creek, dn Yerba, up Mullholland, dn Encinal, up Latigo, Hidden Valley https://www.strava.com/routes/23306

shorter option 1 is 62.5 miles 5400 ft of climbing:  Potrero, pch, up Latigo Hidden Valley https://www.strava.com/routes/13990405

shorter option 2 is 47 miles 3700 ft of climbing:  Potrero, pch, up Mullholland.  https://www.strava.com/routes/13990ley280

These are challenging routes, but it is a fun atmosphere not a race.  You can sign up the day of, and the fee is donation based.
