Hey Everybody, This Saturday we've got routes heading to up Mulholland to Piuma and Old Topanga, or Piuma and return back down Piuma, with options to continue onto 7-minute Hill. The Orange ride is headed for Treasure Hill, Camarillo Santa Rosa and Olsen return.
Sunday we'll be riding toward Dos Vientos, with options to add Carlisle Canyon and the Borchard Wall approach. The social ride will ride to the top of Treasure Hill in Hidden Valley and return.
And on Monday Memorial Day we'll do last month's make up away rides in Camarillo, with options to ride Ventura, Oxnard, Santa Paula and Ojai.
The Tuesday Night Race Ride continues to draw lots of riders at all levels, with different start times so everyone can enjoy the fast-paced Rock Store loop. Please watch your speed coming down Decker!
Midweek rides are available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, including mountain biking on Thursday afternoon.
This week we've added typical regroup locations and restroom stops along the way to the routes (see the maps on MapMyRide).
Our variable routes and Less Climbing/Time options are working well. If you do have a mechanical issue out on the road, please ask at least one other rider to assist you, if we don't assign someone immediately.
Let me know if I can help with anything ride-related. I always have extra Clif bars and my toolbox, pump, etc. If you have any questions about your bike, please feel free to ask be before the rides, or contact me directly before we hit the road. Let's ride!
