I’ve only received two RSVP’s for the Pub Ride tomorrow from Adobe Cantina.  Are there negative feelings about the location?  Perhaps the Democratic Debate is taking precedent?

Please let me know if you’re planning to ride and join us for adult beverages and munchies afterward (see details below).

Many thanks.

Not sure why the link is broken…let try this again:  https://ridewithgps.com/routes/23248797

In case it is still linking to Stonehaus, we’ll be riding west from Adobe Cantina to the lake at Westlake, take a lake lap, then head east on Agoura Road to Cornell and take Cornell / Mulholland to King Gillette before deterring the safest way back to Adobe Cantina from there.

Happy Monday, CVCers:

This Thursday's Pub Ride will begin at Adobe Cantina at 5:30 pm.  Adobe Cantina is located at 29100 Agoura Rd, Agoura Hills, CA 91301 - just east of Kanan on the south side of the street.

Let’s meet in the parking lot directly in front of the restaurant’s entrance (there is plenty of parking toward the rear of the parking lot as well).  We’ll take off promptly at 5:30, so if you are running a couple of minutes late and you’d like us to wait for you, please call/text me at 818-257-2236 to let me know.  As opposed to last week, we will not wait more than 5 minutes to depart.

Here is the route we’ll be taking:  https://ridewithgps.com/routes/23248797

This ride is at a social pace, which I understand may have somewhat different meanings to some, but if you’re looking for a ride where you can really hammer, this is not it.  Also, riding this time of the evening can be challenging (motorists coming home from work, distracted by either their reflections of the day or their anticipations of the evening to come), so it is important for our safety to stay together as a group.  We may alter the return from King Gillette to come back on Agoura Road instead of Mulholland…but we’ll discuss it when we get there.

After the ride, everyone can order their own food/libations as desired.  So even if you cannot make the ride, plan on being there after for the fun part.

Please let me know if you will be dining at Adobe Cantina at 7:00 pm - regardless if you are riding - as I’d like to give the management an estimate on the number of people to expect.

Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday.
