Hi CVCrs, Now that the Holidays are behind us, Lets get back to our regular rides. If you have been thinking about getting out on that MTB, now is a good timer to get a light, and get some beautiful winter weekday riding in. Most anyone but beginners will find they can hang with the group, so come on out! I wont be able to ride this week due to Cruisin' the Conejo responsibilities. But Ben and the boys will be out so get out there any ways. The rides for this week are as follows. Tuesday let's ride in Malibu Creek. Meet at DeAnza park on Lost Hills Rd. at 6:00 pm. Thursday we're riding in Dos Vientos. Meet at Wendy and Potrero at 6:00 pm Also!!!! There is a night ride out of Westlake Cyclery this Friday Night where you can demo the latest offerings from Light in Motion lighting systems. For more info go to: http://westlakecyclery.com/ and scroll down a bit. if your thinking about night MTB riding, this is a great opportunity to give it a try!!!! As it is now completely dark at the start, make sure those lights are charged and ready. Most of our rides are approximately 8-15 miles and last around 1.5-2 hours. Our rides are done jointly with the Conejo Mountain Bike club (CMB). It is an intermediate paced ride and not a no-drop ride. but, lets stay together within our groups, and have a fun safe time. Always make sure you have your Helmet (mandatory),Water, spares, and a light. See you soon on the road of trail! Kent Koral.
