Ride Safely!

 

·     Rider rules: helmets (required!), stay in bike lanes, don’t overlap wheels, call out hazards, follow traffic rules, single file on narrow roads, ride predictably.  More below

·     Coming! Swap Meet & Meeting: July 30th @7 pm at the Westlake Library

·     Volunteers needed! Ride leaders or behind the scenes. Please contact Sheri

·     Pub rides: Thursdays @5:30 pm; watch for separate announcement

·     Parking: at the Landing, park in middle rows

·     Weather:  If the weather is inclement, we will cancel ALL rides

When riding with us, you MUST:

·     ride no more than two abreast on marked bike lanes; single file otherwise

·     ensure your bike is in good working order

·     descend carefully!  Look out for debris, animals, potholes, tight bends, and slick spots

·     pass slower riders on the left 

·     signal when changing lines 

·     avoid bunching up 

·     respect traffic laws and the rights of motor vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians

·     remind others to ride safely
