Hey Everybody, the weather has been cooperating and the rides this last week were spectacular. Let's keep it fun and safe out there.
This Saturday we've got routes heading to the beach down Potrero and back up either Mulholland or Deer Creek. The Orange ride will head out Hidden Valley as well, and loop around Dos Vientos and back through Thousand Oaks.
Sunday we'll be heading toward Gillette Ranch with the red group riding Piuma, Stunt and Old Topanga, and the G.O. group doing a couple loops through Oak Park and Mulholland with 7-minute Hill. The social ride is going to Malibu Lake up Cornell.
On Sunday Sheri will be distributing club kits and the Social Mixer is from 3:30 - 6:30!
The Tuesday Night Race Ride gets larger every week, and offers different start times so everyone can enjoy the fast-paced Rock Store loop. Please watch your speed coming down Decker!
Midweek rides are available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, including mountain biking on Thursday afternoon.
And this week we had a huge turnout for the first Pub Ride on Wednesday night. Fun ride and PitFire Pizza afterward!
Enjoy your rides this week, watch out for each other and be safe. If you do have a mechanical issue out on the road, please ask at least one other rider to assist you, if we don't assign someone immediately.
Let me know if I can help with anything bike or ride-related. I always have extra Clif bars and my toolbox, pump, etc. If you have any questions about your bike, please feel free to ask me before the rides, or contact me directly before we hit the road.
New jerseys are out looking great, so let's start showing them off!
Let's ride!
