CVC Orange Ride -- Saturday, December 28, 2013 -- 8:30 AM

Riders meet at Citibank parking lot in Westlake Village (Westlake Blvd. & Agoura Road, north east corner) for announcements at 8:30 AM. We will split into our groups and depart shortly thereafter.

Route: Mulholland Hwy., to Old Topanga Cyn. via 7-min. Hill. Up Old Topanga to Fernwood, up Fernwood to the crest at Stunt Rd. and Schurren Rd. Schurren Rd. to Piuma, Piuma to Mulholland, Mulholland to Cornell, Cornell to Agoura Rd., and back to Sprouts.                          

 

Regroups:

Re-group King/Gillette for restrooms and water.  

Re-group Top of 7-min. Hill for water (please do not block residential traffic)

Re-group Fire station at Fernwood for water

Re-group crest at Stunt/Schurren

Re-group Fire station bottom of Piuma

Re-group King/Gillette

Rolling re-group at Kanan and Agoura Rd.

                                                                                                                                                               I could not access Ride with GPS so I do not have a route map or elevation gain info. Please know the general route and try to stay together.

Ride leader/s: Gary Silver (213) 923-0382 Jerry Scott (805) 404-8525 The CVC Orange Ride is an Intermediate to advanced ride, 40+ miles in length. It is mandatory to have & wear a helmet. It is the rider's responsibility to ensure that the helmet is in good condition. This is a "drop ride" so please understand the route before you start. We will try to stick together & have a fun safe ride. Re-groups allow everyone a chance for everyone to ride together for a more enjoyable ride.

 

Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads; it is our club policy to cancel club rides. Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditions; however, the ride will not be considered an official club ride.

Please remember to park in the area along Westlake Blvd. (between the street and the first driveway aisle) and not in the area in front of the shops or market.
