Happy Monday, CVCers:
This Thursday's Pub Ride will begin at Cronies Sports Grill in Thousand Oaks at 5:30 pm.
Cronies is located at 1620 Newbury Road, Thousand Oaks, CA 91320 - in the same shopping center as
Newbury Bike Shop, just west of In-n-Out Burger.
Let’s meet at 5:30 pm in the parking lot at the entrance to Cronies. We’ll take off
promptly at 5:30, so be sure to arrive a few minutes early.
This ride is at a social pace, which I understand may have somewhat different meanings to some, but if you’re looking for a ride where you can really hammer, this is not it. Also, riding this time of the evening
can be challenging (motorists coming home from work, distracted by either their reflections of the day or their anticipations of the evening to come), so it is important for our safety
to stay together as a group.
I’m unsure if we can arrange for a single table, but if possible, I’ll try to arrange for one on the patio in front. And even if you cannot make the ride, plan on being there around 7:00-ish for the fun part.
RSVPs are not required, but if you wouldn’t mind letting me know that you’re coming, it would be permit me to do a better job of coordinating with the management at Cronies.
