Great news! Kent and Sheri will lead the ride tomorrow.
ROUTE: Out-and-Back through Hidden Valley (those who want to ride a few extra miles can add the Carlisle extension).
START TIME: 5:30 p.m.
DISTANCE: 20 miles
PACE: This is an intermediate level ride that includes both Gold and Orange paces averaging 14+/15+ mph.
NO DROPS:A no drop ride means that the leader will wait ahead at strategic points/turns along the route, or sweep behind the group as needed, so nobody gets left behind. Faster riders who are familiar with the course and who prefer to ride ahead are encouraged to do so; they need not wait at regroup points.
DIRECTIONS TO RIDE START: Triunfo Canyon Rd. in Westlake Village, just west of the Dam (tennis) Club and little yacht club building. From the 101 Freeway, take Lindero Canyon south until it ends at Triunfo. Go right on Triunfo a couple hundred yards. You will see a grassy area where we PICNIC after the ride. Park along the curb.

Hi folks, I am sorry to report that I injured myself during an ocean kayak trip last week. I am still healing so will be unable to lead the ride this Thursday, August 29th. I expect to be healed up by next Thursday.

If someone would like to lead the ride tomorrow, please email me or call me and let me know (before tomorrow morning), which ride/route you want to lead and I will publish an announcement for you.
