After getting good suggestions about simplifying the Orange Ride route ( thanks Dennis) 

for this Sat.'s  ORANGE  Away Ride : Ventura-Ojai-Santa Paula -Ventura

(It's more straightforward route-wise & less climbing too)

I RE-drew the Orange route on RWGPS eliminating the residential streets in Oak View 

  - which were confusing and easy to miss ( like the Cool Breeze was a couple years ago) 

So here is the CORRECTED ORANGE RIDE route : 

49.6 miles

2334' climbing ( realistically 20% less as RWGPS is always high) 

Please look at it and print the route slip for use on Sat.

Could be considered a GOLD Ride too ? Just by riding a little slower avg. speed? 

  - as it fits in our club Gold Ride definition as to mileage & overall climbing feet 

Most significant climb is Dennison Grade: on  route #150 east of Ojai  

  - maybe is 1/2 of our Rock Store climb?

Headwind can be a factor to returning from Santa Paula to Ventura though

Another comparison between this Sat.'s Away ride routes: 

   Sat.'s RED Ride version adds : Thatcher Rd. climb and Foothill Rd. rollers after Santa Paula  

             ( a few extra miles and climbing feet)
