CVC Saturday Orange Level Ride -- Saturday Feb 18th 8:30 AM
Meeting at Citibank Parking Lot - Westlake Village -- Westlake Blvd. & Agoura Road (North East Corner)
Route: Westlake to Simi Valley through Box Canyon to Valley Circle and returning on Agura commonly called Box Canyon Route.
 
Change in ride leaders: 
Scott Lorkis will be leading the Orange Ride instead of Gold. and Sheri will be leading the Gold Ride.  The following is the Orange Ride Route, the Gold Route was previously published.
 
Hi Everyone,
On Saturday February 18th. starting at 8:30 AM the Orange ride is going through Simi Valley and Box Canyon and returning through Calabasis on Agura Road. The re-group locations are Wood Ranch Parkway and Long Canyon, restroom and water on the right, Carl's Junior on Los Angeles Yosemitte and McDonald's on Agura Road.  Please use the restroom before departing.

 Please take caution when descending box canyon and re-group at the bottom of the decent..
 
First re-group at Wood Ranch and Long Canyon.
We will re-group at the Carl's Junior on Los Angeles Ave. at Yosemitte.
Next re-group at the bottom of box canyon at valley circle.
 
The Orange Ride is an intermediate to advanced recreational ride 40 to 50 miles in length with an average pace of 16+mph. It is mandatory to have and ware a helmet and it is the rider's responsibility to ensure that the helmet is valid (check expiration on helmet inner tag, usually good for five years) and in good working condition. It is not a "no drop ride" but as always let's try to stick together and have a fun,safe ride.
Things to have:
Water to complete the ride or at least to reach the next water stop.
Tools to perform minor repairs.
Chain repair linkage.
Inner-tube and inflated device.
Cellular phone.
Food to replenish energy.

Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel a club ride. Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditions; however, the ride will not be considered an official club ride.

After the ride, please join us at one of the many refueling options available at the finish such as Natural Cafe, Sea Casa, East Coast Bagel, Sprouts Market, etc..

Please remember to park in the area along Westlake Bl.(between the street and the first driveway aisle) and not in the area in front of the Shops/Market. If we don't respect the requests of the lease tenants, we could be asked to park elsewhere.
