Hi All: This Sat. is the 2nd Sat. of the month and is our club's traditional Away Ride Saturday. As previously announced - this month's Away Ride is: Flat Century: from Leo Carrillo to Carpenteria & back 9:00 am meeting at Leo Carrillo Campground entrance parking lot - park on PCH and ride under the tunnel of PCH to avoid campground parking fee meet at campground entrance parking lot. Jim D and Harlene R. will be the ride leaders I will have a RWGPS map & routeslip made up before the Saturday ride. This is a relatively flat (but longer) Away Ride with minimal climbing so we will plan on stopping several places along the way for snacks, drinks & restrooms similiar to what a charity ride would have as rest stops. I know some of you have ridden this route before with Harlene so I trust you must know of some convenient places to stop - I understand that the Subway sandwich shop in Carpenteria is a good lunch stop before we head back to Leo Carrillo.
