Route: Westlake to Simi around Lost Canyon Golf Course. Weather forecast is for Rain and 64 Deg., at the start the temperature should be in the low 50 Deg.

Hi Everyone,

On Saturday March 17th. starting at 8:30 AM we are riding through Wood Ranch in Simi Valley to the Lost Canyon area and returning through Read Bypass.  Please be aware that rain is in the forecast for this weekend and if raining or if the road is wet, this ride will be  canceled based on the Club's inclement weather policy.

Please use the restroom before departing.

Re-group Locations:

Wood Ranch and Long Canyon for water and rest room.

East Los Angeles and Erringer.

Reed Bypass

As usual, we will meet at the Citibank parking lot and have our pre-ride announcements promptly at 8:30AM then splitting into our groups and departing.

The Orange Ride is an Intermediate/advanced recreational ride, 40-60 miles in length and averaging 17 mph. It is mandatory to have and ware a helmet and it is the rider's responsibility to ensure that the helmet is valid (check expiration on helmet inner tag, usually good for five years) and in good working condition. It is not a "no drop ride" but as always let's try to stick together and have a fun, safe ride.

Things to have:

Water to complete the ride or at least to reach the next water stop.

Tools to perform minor repairs.

Chain repair linkage.

Inner-tube and inflated device.

Cellular phone.

Food to replenish energy.
