Petros Vasiliou could use our help.
Petros Vasiliou has been selected as our recipient for the Michael P. Nosco foundation. Here’s his story and
I’m hopeful through this amazing community we can help change his life!
Petros is an avid cyclist and on December 2, 2024 (1-year ago!), while out for his lunchtime ride along PCH,
was hit from behind by a vehicle, nearly taking his life.
He had full-body traumatic injuries, was in a coma for a month and has a severe Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
He currently requires care 24/7.
Petros and his family could use Love, Hope and Community (which is all of us)
Please join us on Sunday
January 11th
for a road bike ride in his honor.
The ride will start/finish at Triunfo Park, 980 Aranmoor Ave, Westlake Village CA 91362,
The ride will roll at
10am,
and we will ride as a group over to where Petros is currently living and receiving his care. Meadowbrook
at Agoura Hills assisted living.
Showing up as a group can have a profound effect on his and his family’s life.
After this stop, ride at your own pace up and over the world famous “Rock Store” climb, taking in some of the
most scenic views, ride across Mulholland before dropping back down in to Westlake.
If you would like to do a short version and just go to his facility and back, this
will be about 15 miles. If you cannot go at all, please make a donation. Link is below.

When riding with us, you will:

Use
helmets and bike lanes! Call out hazards and ride predictably.

Avoid bunching up; don’t overlap wheels.
·
Keep a prudent distance and ride single file on narrow roads.
·
Ensure your bike is in good working order.
·
Descend carefully!
·
Pass slower riders on the left and signal when changing lines.
·
Respect traffic laws and the rights of motor vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians.
·
If the weather is inclement, we will cancel ALL rides.
