Question of the week:  Can Kent be stopped?  The last two weeks I have asked Kent, “what pr are you chasing today”?  I get the same responses each time. “Not been feeling well”, “don’t think I'm going for anything today”...  When I get home and look at Strava for the day, what do you know KK has got himself another pr on a big climb.  So we don’t always have to plot it out, just go with how you feel.  Enjoy the ride and see how it turns out.  But if you hear someone downplaying their anticipated efforts, be ready to jump out of the saddle at the next turn.  

Safety Tip of the Week:  Announce Hazards-When riding in a tight group, most of the cyclists do not have a good view of the road surface ahead, so it is important to announce holes, gravel, grates, and other hazards. Indicate road hazards by pointing down to the left or right, and by shouting “hole,” “bump,” “pine cone”, etc. Everyone in a group should be made aware of hazards.
