CVC RED Ride -- Saturday, March 8, 2014 -- 8:30 AM
Meet at Citibank parking lot in Westlake Village -- Westlake Blvd. & Agoura Road (North East Corner) at 8:30 AM for announcements, and then split into our groups to depart.

 Re-Group spots:
1)  Peter Strauss Ranch (Water, restrooms)
2)  Top of Rock Store Regroup
3)  Leo Carrillo Beach Park ( water, restrooms)
4  Top of Decker Fire Station (water)
Safety Tip of the week:
Anytime you hit the road after a rain event, take extra caution around curves to ensure you do not encounter any unusual road debris (rocks)  that may be present in particular in the canyons on a fast descent.

The RED Ride is an Advanced level of riding; 50+ Miles; 15+ avg. MPH; Above average to extensive hill climbing; Few regroups or stops ride.  It is mandatory to have & wear a helmet. It is the rider's responsibility to ensure that the helmet is in good condition. This is a "drop ride" so please understand the route before you start (and how to get back).  As always we will try to stick together & have a fun safe ride. Few re-groups will allow everyone a chance to ride together. Please let the ride leader know if you do not plan on continuing on the planned route.
Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel club rides. Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditions. However, the ride will not be considered an official club ride.
Please remember to park in the area along Westlake Blvd. (between the street and the first driveway aisle), and not in the area in front of the shops and market.
