Hey CVC Gang, this Saturday is the away ride in Santa Barbara (Summerland start). We've planned a couple nice routes including a Red/Orange route up Gibraltar (it's up and back so we can bite off as much as we want of that climb). There's also a stunning Gold/Orange route that includes Mountain Road and gorgeous views of the area.
Sunday we will pick up the Gillette Ranch and Malibu Lake routes we skipped last weekend because of the smoke. Red ride is going to do the Rock Store/Encinal loop from the Calabasas direction.
The Tuesday Night Race Ride is getting a fantastic turnout, and offers different start times so everyone can enjoy the fast-paced Rock Store loop. Please watch your speed coming down Decker!
Midweek rides are available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, including mountain biking on Thursday afternoon.
And the new Pub Ride on Wednesday night is a blast at a fun pace!
Enjoy your rides this week, watch out for each other, sunscreen and be safe. If you do have a mechanical issue out on the road, please ask at least one other rider to assist you, if we don't assign someone immediately.
Let me know if I can help with anything bike or ride-related. I always have extra Clif bars and my toolbox, pump, etc. If you have any questions about your bike, please feel free to ask me before the rides, or contact me directly before we hit the road.
New jerseys are out looking great, so let's keep showing them off!
Let's ride!
